JOB SUMMARY:  The Human Resource Assistant will support the HR department in various administrative and clerical tasks. This role involves assisting with recruitment, maintaining employee records, providing support to employees, and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes.   JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, phone screening and scheduling interviews. * Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. * Provide support to employees with HR-related inquiries and issues. * Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including new hire paperwork and processes, as well as pre-employment testing. * Assist with file and document management on a regular basis. * Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. * Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the HR department.   JOB REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred. * Previous experience in an administrative or HR role is a plus. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. * Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively. * Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
