Responsibilities

You’ll be the go-to resource for all things benefits-related, overseeing group insurance programs, leave administration, unemployment claims, workers’ compensation, and billing reconciliation. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Guiding and Supporting Employees - Be a trusted advisor on benefit offerings, helping employees navigate enrollment, life events, and leave with clarity and compassion.
  • Delivering Seamless Administration - Oversee plan enrollments, payroll deductions, monthly billing reconciliations, and vendor relationships to ensure programs are accurate, efficient, and compliant.
  • Championing Workplace Well-being - Administer leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, etc.) and workers’ compensation claims; support return-to-work planning with care and sensitivity.
  • Managing Compliance and Claims - Respond to unemployment claims, track filings, and ensure adherence to ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and applicable state laws.
  • Driving Process Excellence - Maintain SOPs, benefit documentation, and HRIS data integrity; partner across HR, Payroll, and Accounting to streamline processes and resolve issues.
