OVERVIEW:

Pacston Canada is seeking a Business Operations Associate to join our team in North York to work on-site. This position plays a key role in supporting our Business Operations Team by driving employee performance, growth, and engagement while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Business Operations Associate will collaborate closely with Team Leads/Training Managers and management to oversee workforce planning, employee engagement, performance tracking, and retention initiatives.
We provide full onboarding and training after hire. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about human resources and business operations, and who are eager to gain hands-on experience in employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in human resources, business operations, or administrative support is preferred.
  • Experience in employee engagement and performance management is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and employee records.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and comfort learning new software/tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative in supporting team and business needs.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written, is required.
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid model from our North York office.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime as required.
