Supporting the Head of HR, this is a tremendously exciting time to be joining what is widely recognised as one of the industry’s leading service providers, within vehicle leasing and fleet management. Ayvens has a proven portfolio of innovative, award-winning products for major PLCs, small businesses, and individual drivers alike.
Created as a fixed term contract to support the integration of LeasePlan UK and ALD Automotive, we are initially proposing a contract until 3st March 2027. Salary is anticipated to be within the range of £55,000 - £65,000 DOE plus benefits inc. an electric vehicle.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND

  • Strategic HR background operating as a true commercial partner
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and experience of dealing with complex ER issues
  • Ability to use data and analytics to inform and drive decision making as well as measuring success
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and influence others
  • Proven coaching and mentoring capability up to senior level
  • Proven written, verbal and presentation skills
Responsibilities

KEY PURPOSE

  • You will play a key role in the delivery of workforce solutions, interventions and actions and will work collaboratively with senior leaders to ensure we have the right people strategies and interventions in place to drive commercial success
  • You will have the ability to develop strong meaningful relationships at a senior level, with the ability to deliver effective feedback and challenge where necessary
  • You will work collaboratively to identify and deliver the wider people strategy, operating business as usual and multiple projects at the same time
  • You will lead by example, ensuring that personal behaviour is in line with the ALD values and behaviour

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the provision of intelligent, timely and relevant people advice to managers at all levels, ensuring that all cases are managed within policy and wider legislation whilst developing and delivering solutions
  • Partner with senior leadership teams to create and support activities that improve and sustain engagement levels
  • Develop, lead and deliver focused people interventions to support the wider strategic and operational plans, including organisational change and resourcing projects
  • Participating in the review, development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Work in partnership with business leaders to identify talent and create robust succession plans to deliver business priorities
  • Work with the Resourcing Business Partner to ensure all resourcing is delivered within appropriate timescales in line with the headcount plan and changing operational needs.
  • Help to build and sustain people management capacity through strong coaching and mentoring relationships
  • Produce timely monthly reports, reviewing people metrics, creating and implementing plans to drive improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to the wider HR Support team, leading on key HR projects and initiatives when required
  • Actively develop, coach and mentor direct reports to ensure they meet their full potential in line with agreed business strategy (where applicable)
