Job Description We’re looking for a HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team! Field-Based The Sika team provides support to numerous vertical markets across the business providing tactical and strategic support to senior managers and people managers. You will be joining a dynamic team of Business Partners who are looking to take the way we support the business to the next level of value. We are on a journey to do this but have a great team and positive relations with the business as a foundation. We have sites in Leeds, Redditch, Preston and Welwyn Garden City. Ideally you will be based in commutable distance to one of these sites however you will need to be flexible to travel between sites based on the needs of the business alongside some homeworking. Purpose of the Role To support great people decisions and develop an enabling culture in line with company values. The Opportunity: Develop and drive a bespoke People Agenda with Key Stakeholders relevant to your specific Areas of Responsibility (AOR). Improve capability, knowledge and decision making of people managers in all things people. Along with Key Stakeholders, identify and develop key talent within your areas of responsibility. In addition, you’ll be working with an engaged set of stakeholders who will value your knowledge and support. You are empowered to work independently with in your area of responsibility, but we regularly come together as a team and collaborate with the wider HR team. You will also have the support of the fantastic HR Hub who will support with the transactional burden but also much more including provision of data and metrics, talent acquisition support and less complex ER issues. A handover period of 6 to 8 weeks will be provided to help you gain knowledge about your business area before our colleague goes on Maternity Leave. The Future: Potential Career Routes: Whilst this position is a Fixed Term Maternity Cover, there is potential scope for a permanent position in the future.
