We are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to support G’s Fresh Ltd, based at Barway this role is offering a reduced hours contract, considering 3 or 4 days per week.
As a strategic HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leadership to shape and execute our people strategy in line with the business goals. The HR Business Partner plays a key role in aligning HR functions with the overall business objectives of the organisation. This role acts as a consultant and critical friend to business leaders, providing HR expertise to support the development and execution of human resources strategies that drive business success.
The HR Business Partner will work closely with the People Team Centre of Excellence (CoE) to understand the overall strategy and business goals. Aligning with the CoE initiatives with the specific needs and objectives of G’s Fresh.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • CIPD Qualification: (Level 7 preferred) or equivalent strategic HR experience.
  • Strategic thinker and honed business acumen.
  • Versatile relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced with change management and adaptability.
  • Able to demonstrate confidentiality and ethical conduct.
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making.
  • Project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies and robust people plans that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Collaborating where appropriate with the CoE expertise, work closely with the Head of ER to manage complex employee relations issues. Provide guidance to managers, and work to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with CoE and managers to identify workforce needs and develop talent strategies including talent acquisition, talent management and early careers. Participate in the selection and onboarding of key employees, ensuring they fit the organisation’s culture and goals.
  • Assist in designing and implementing performance management programs, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and development plans. Support managers in coaching and improving employee performance.
  • Identify areas for organisational development and work with leadership to implement changes, such as restructuring, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
  • Collaborate with the CoE to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages that attract and retain top talent. Conduct benchmarking reviews and analysis to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Collaborating with L&D, support the creation and implementation of training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Identify training needs and help design relevant programs.
  • In collaboration with CoE ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant labour laws and regulations.
  • Collaborating with CoE initiatives, monitor and enhance employee engagement through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Act as a change agent within the organisation, assisting in managing change initiatives and helping employees adapt to new processes or structures.
