Overview:
Reporting to the VP HR Business Partnering for our international markets, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven individual to be part of our HR team driving and implementing global HR strategy locally and regionally.
The HRBP will be responsible for partnering with the regional leadership team to create and implement HR programs and initiatives in line with our Global HR Strategy. This person will also be a coach and mentor to leadership and act as implementer for all HR programs across locations and supporting our work from home employees. Country of focus is Australia, with additional responsibility for smaller employee populations in Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on human resources operational issues and initiatives to meet management needs in accordance with company and HR policies and procedures.
  • To coach and support end users of the HR systems and processes, collaborating with HR Shared Services as necessary to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Support new hire and termination processes ensuring managers comply with company requirements to include new employee orientation and on-boarding and conducting exit interviews.
  • Assist with delivering various human resource plans and procedures, assisting in development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and ensuring effective communication of new or updated policies and procedures.
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Design and develop initiatives and programs to support our people strategy and core values.
  • Work proactively with managers to identify key drivers for absenteeism, turnover and poor performance.
  • Improve performance and organizational effectiveness by analysing department structures and evaluating options that will best meet business needs.
  • Administer the compensation program, monitor, and support performance evaluation and employee recognition programs as required.
  • Manage employee relations counselling and investigations as required, representing HR at related meetings and hearings.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures as well as employment laws.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of min. 5 years as an HR Business Partner, within a dynamic service or IT environment.
  • Excellent communicator who is used to dealing with people at different levels within an international organization.
  • Strong sense of accountability and quality.
  • Hands-on with a strategic mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
