Job Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Ashford
Job Type: Full time/permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (08:00 - 16:00 would also be considered)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

JOB SUMMARY:

As a HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in managing HR operations, providing strategic guidance and support to ensure the smooth functioning of HR processes. Serving as a generalist HR expert, you will develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with organisational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop HR strategies and manage implementation across various departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders and drive change.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, talent management, and performance management.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a smooth and effective hiring process.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Implement and monitor performance management programs to drive high performance.
  • Nurture a positive working environment and develop employee engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal systems.
  • Maintain and enhance company policies and procedures, ensuring they remain compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support and guidance to hiring managers, ensuring they are equipped to manage their roles effectively.
  • Oversee and implement employee development programs and training.
  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to develop data-driven strategies for improvement.Oversee the small health and safety team, ensuring 100% compliance.
