We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Business Partner to join a global leader in sport and streetwear retail. This is a newly evolved role with significant scope, ideal for someone who can confidently manage complex ER cases while also contributing across generalist HR support and company wellbeing initiatives.
You’ll be working closely with retail teams across a multi-site network, providing both reactive case management and proactive people support. This role sits at the heart of a fast-paced, dynamic environment and requires strong ER capability, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support end-to-end employee relations (ER) cases across the retail network, including investigations, performance management, grievances, and disciplinary processes
  • Ensure consistency and compliance with legal and internal frameworks
  • Coach, guide, and train leaders and HR team members on ER processes and best practices
  • Provide generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle, in collaboration with the broader People team
  • Collaborate on and support wellbeing programs and initiatives tailored to the needs of the business
  • Act as a trusted partner to leaders, providing sound advice and practical solutions on people-related matters
  • Help drive cultural and engagement initiatives, with a focus on building leadership capability
  • Support with data reporting, trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within the people function

About You:

  • Proven HR Business Partner experience, ideally in a retail or multi-site environment
  • Strong knowledge and application of Australian employment law and ER best practices
  • Confident in managing complex ER cases independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with a collaborative team culture
  • Skilled in facilitating workshops and training sessions to uplift capability across the team
  • Experience contributing to wellbeing and culture programs
  • Able to handle sensitive and unexpected changes within the workforce with discretion and professionalism
  • Resilient, approachable, and solutions-focused
