- They advise the managers in your area on all personnel, organizational and individual matters – from recruitment to difficult separations.
- You support your employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle and are fully responsible for HR matters within your area, including administrative processes.
- They further develop the HR skills of managers, both in everyday work and through their own training formats.
- They identify talent, develop development plans, and ensure that your department has the people it will need in two years.
- You are introducing changes in your area: new processes, additional modules of our personnel management software LOGA, self-services for employees and managers.
- They work closely and collaboratively with the works council. It has been involved with the company for decades; the current pace of change is new to it. The work involves providing advice, explanations, and building trust.
- And you will take on a key professional topic for the entire HR team, for whom you will be the first point of contact in the future.
What sets this position apart : You're not just one voice among many in a large HR organization, but the authority for your area. You know every process because it crosses your desk – including time tracking and sick leave. This is intentional: Those who notice the small things recognize the big ones sooner. And we're systematically reducing this workload through digitalization, self-service options, and the intelligent use of artificial intelligence.
Your profile:
- Several years of generalist experience in human resources, for example as an HR specialist, HR manager, HR generalist, or HR business partner. A purely specialized career path is not suitable for this role.
- A solid professional foundation – a degree with a focus on human resources or business administration, further training as a human resources specialist, or vocational training with a corresponding qualification. The path taken is secondary.
- Experience in advising executives and confidence in dealing with different hierarchical levels and employee groups, preferably also with industrially oriented workforces.
- Basic knowledge of employment law is required. We do not expect expert knowledge: it is present within the team, and there is also ongoing legal support.
- Openness to change. For one of the two positions, proven experience in change management or organizational development is expressly desired.
- Interest in digital HR processes and what automation and artificial intelligence make possible in HR work today.
- Personally: approachable, open, with the composure to accompany people through change instead of pushing them through it.
- Regular presence in Bad Hersfeld. No regular travel is required.
This position is not for recent graduates. We are looking for someone with a solid professional foundation.
