Description
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our logistics operations and drive people performance. You’ll partner with site and operational leaders to deliver end-to-end HR strategies that enhance culture, engagement, and workforce capability. The role also involves leading the delivery of HR operations across multiple sites, supporting talent and capability development, and contributing to a positive and high-performing workplace culture. This role can be based in either Sydney or Brisbane. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full employee lifecycle across logistics sites, covering recruitment, onboarding, performance management, engagement, and offboarding. Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, organisational culture, and retention. Oversee HR operations to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant employment legislation. Contribute to national HR projects and initiatives supporting the broader DPWA business. Build strong partnerships with leaders to identify and manage change, fostering continuous improvement and organizational development. Provide expert advice to leaders on people strategies, risks, issues, and trends to facilitate informed decision-making. Coach and guide senior managers on the application of the Fair Work Act and related legislation to maintain risk within agreed parameters. Lead investigations into potential policy breaches and recommend appropriate outcomes. Support the Enterprise Agreement (EA) bargaining process and ensure its effective implementation and realization of outcomes post-bargaining Qualifications, Experience and Skills: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline. Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, preferably within a logistics, supply chain, or industrial/front-line environment. Solid knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations, and HR compliance requirements. Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation. Proven expertise in aligning strategic HR initiatives with effective hands-on execution within a fast-paced, multi-site operational environment Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capability, with a pragmatic and solutions oriented approach. Experience leading change management, culture, and employee engagement initiatives. A collaborative and proactive mindset, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across operational and leadership teams. Track record of partnering with site and operational leaders to develop and implement HR solutions that drive business performance.
