We are seeking to recruit an HR Business Partner to join our HR Team .
The role will be based at our manufacturing location in Warrington and will be part of the UK Team who look after the 5 Sites in the UK; Carrington, Crumlin, Gainsborough, Milton Keynes and Warrington.

MIN. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 3 years HR experience in manufacturing, chemical or similar environment.
Human Resource qualification including membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or, the equivalent level of attainment gained through professional experience.
Experience of multi-site working for a multi-national company would be an advantage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

HR experience within a unionized, manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
Up to date understanding of the principles of good HR practice.
Knowledge of employment law.
Knowledgeable and experienced in utilising computerised HR systems.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for co-ordination of all salary administration (e.g. Blue/white collar, exempt/non-exempt and unionised populations) including preparation of data for performance management, annual salary review, staff planning, promotions, adjustments, new joiner and leaver processes.
  • Manage administration for HR processes e.g. Leavers, joiners, member communications, employee queries, disciplinary and grievance matters etc.
  • Assist in day to day interaction with Trade Union site representatives and facilitate IR/ER relationships at site level. Facilitate collective requirements e.g. annual pay negotiation process, ensure compliance with collective agreements and review regularly to ensure agreements meet the business, employee and regulatory requirements.
  • Co-ordinate recruitment activity both internally and externally; ensure appropriate internal processes are complied with, arrange and manage advertising, candidate selection and interview preparation, contract administration, HR and Payroll enrollment and induction process etc.
  • Ensure HR processes are complied with at all times and maintain functional credibility, best practice and service deliverables to all customers.
  • Liaise with line manager to ensure corporate standards are met at all times; facilitate with local roll-out and implementation of corporate policies and initiatives.
