Summary: The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Manager will lead and supervise a team of HRBPs, ensuring the effective delivery of HR initiatives that align with Equity Bank’s strategic goals across bank offices in four states and supporting over 900 employees. This role involves providing expert guidance and mentorship to the HRBP team while directly serving as the HRBP to the main bank office in Wichita, KS and multiple bank branches. The HRBP Manager will drive HR strategies in areas such as employee relations, performance management, talent management, organizational development, and compliance, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior HRBP or similar leadership role, demonstrating high potential to lead, coach, and mentor HRBPs.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is highly desirable.
  • Relevant master’s degree is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge, and experience with application of, employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Outlook, and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships with leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible for understanding and following the applicable laws and regulations for their job responsibilities, including but not limited to Equity Bank Business Ethic and Conduct policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Information security, and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements.
  • Other tasks, as assigned by the Director of HR and/or Chief HR Officer.
  • Travel is required up to 20%.
