ABOUT THE HR BUSINESS PARTNER:

MarketStar is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support its EMEA teams. This role will report directly to the HR Director for EMEA and NAMER and will partner closely with business leaders to shape and deliver people strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and business performance.
The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in supporting sales and commercial teams within dynamic, high-growth environments, leveraging both practical HR experience and robust data insights to influence decision-making. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, balancing business priorities with people needs to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.
As a key member of the People Success team, the HR Business Partner will focus on building strong stakeholder relationships, advising on organizational and workforce planning, and driving forward initiatives in employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, and leadership coaching. The role will also ensure that HR practices align with MarketStar’s strategic goals while maintaining compliance with local and regional labour laws.

Responsibilities
  • Transition seamlessly from tactical HR execution to acting as a trusted strategic partner for senior leaders, enabling business success through people and culture.
  • Build strong partnerships with sales leaders and other stakeholders to drive team performance, organizational effectiveness, and client delight.
  • Bring a contemporary, strategic point of view into organizational effectiveness, leadership development, workforce enablement, and change management.
  • Champion an employee–employer relationship that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and opportunity for all employees.
  • Collaborate across the business to foster an environment where smart, innovative risks are encouraged and people impacts are always considered.
  • Apply a comprehensive HR generalist background with a strong understanding of employee relations, organizational design, and HR operations/service delivery to enable seamless execution.
  • Build credibility and trust quickly, forming genuine partnerships across all levels of the business, influencing leaders to engage with HR services in an integrated and strategic way.
  • Act as both an advisor and execution partner — providing counsel on people strategy while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver on priorities.
  • Leverage insights and data to shape workforce planning, culture initiatives, and organizational change agendas.
  • Other functions and responsibilities as required in support of business and people strategies.
