Location: Hybrid – Ponte Vedra Beach, FL Schedule: Onsite twice per week | Remote remaining days Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview MAY Management Services is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support leaders and employees across its community association management operations. This role serves as a trusted advisor to field and corporate leadership, providing hands-on HR guidance while aligning people practices with business objectives. The HR Business Partner will play a critical role in employee relations, performance management, compliance, and talent strategy, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges within HOA/COA and property management environments. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Partnership Serve as a primary HR point of contact for assigned business units and leadership teams. Partner with leadership to align workforce planning, performance management, and talent strategies with operational goals. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance issues, and corrective action. Employee Relations & Performance Management Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans. Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices. Support leaders with onboarding, engagement, retention, and succession planning efforts. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and multi-state regulations. Partner with leadership to mitigate risk and ensure documentation and processes are compliant and consistent. Assist with audits, unemployment claims, and regulatory reporting as needed. Talent & Organizational Support Support recruiting and hiring initiatives in collaboration with the Talent team. Assist with compensation planning, job evaluations, and market benchmarking. Support organizational changes, restructures, and business transitions. HR Operations & Collaboration Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS teams to ensure smooth execution of HR processes. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Support training initiatives, leadership development, and company-wide HR programs. Requirements Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner or Generalist experience. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Experience supporting multi-site or field-based operations preferred. Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Property management, HOA/COA, or real estate industry experience preferred. Work Environment Hybrid role with two required onsite days per week at the Ponte Vedra Beach office. Occasional travel to regional offices or communities may be required.
