Essential Functions/Responsibilities: * Advise managers on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and performance improvement. * Lead investigations when necessary while ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws. * Support performance management processes by assisting managers in setting goals, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback. * Align HR initiatives with firm growth, client demand cycles, and regulatory changes * Promote a culture that is conducive to effective relationships among diverse staff members  * Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and manage benefits enrollment, changes, and claims. * Conduct and manage benefit audits working with benefit providers * Work closely with benefits providers to ensure employees have access to relevant plans (e.g., health, dental, retirement). * Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives to support organizational goals, including diversity and inclusion efforts, wellness programs, and employee recognition initiatives. * Stay informed on HR trends and industry best practices, making recommendations for improvements to policies and processes. * Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and employee rights. * Maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements and company policies. * Prepare and submit regular reports related to HR metrics, compliance, and audits. * Perform any other tasks or functions deemed necessary to the daily operations of the employer. REQUIRED SKILLS:   * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant data tools to include MAC systems. * Excellent time management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings effectively. * Excellent organizational skills.  * Able to type 45 WPM or more.  * English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation * Proper phone etiquette  * Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.  Key Competencies:    * Maintain the strictest level of confidentiality with organizational information.  * Dedicated to fostering positive relationships and improving employee satisfaction. * Strong verbal and written communications skills. * Ability to mediate disputes and find amicable solutions. * Strong attention to detail and ability to manager HR data. * Ability to act ethically with integrity and professionalism.  * Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills. * Relationship building and influencing skills. * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and take initiative in problem-solving. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  * Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in HR or a similar role. * Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations. * Proficient with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems). * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion. * Ability to conduct investigations relating to employee relations issues/concerns. * Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
