Description
Position Summary: The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the facility-level human resources leader, supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll preparation, employee relations, and compliance. This role partners with facility leadership and corporate HR to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: * Serve as primary payroll contact, resolving pay-related issues and coordinating adjustments with Corporate Finance. * Manage time and attendance system, ensuring accurate timecard review and approval. * Administer HRIS for personnel, compensation, and employee changes. * Process and track garnishments, child support, and court orders. * Lead facility recruitment efforts and manage applicant tracking system. * Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and retention programs. * Administer employee benefits, FMLA, personal leave, and workers' compensation. * Prepare OSHA and EEOC reporting, and assist with credentialing as needed. * Provide support with employee performance management and disputes. * Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws. Skills & Competencies * Strong HR knowledge including payroll, benefits, and compliance. * Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings. Required: * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred. * 2--3 years of HR experience, including payroll processing. * Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and healthcare regulations. Preferred: * Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care environment. Physical & Work Requirements * Ability to sit for extended periods, move freely within facility, and lift up to 40 pounds. * Tolerance for odors and conditions typical of a nursing facility.
