About The Role As our HR Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor and operational partner between HR and business leadership. You’ll support managers, handle investigations and employee relations, optimize our HR systems and benefits cycle, and act as the HR lead on key projects. This role bridges strategy and execution, providing both consultative and hands-on HR support across our organization. Some of your responsibilities will include: Partner with managers and leadership to consult on HR issues, employee relations investigations, performance management, and workforce planning. Lead and conduct investigations into employee relations matters; ensure documentation, recommendations, and follow-through. Review, recommend and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with business objectives and compliance requirements. Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, system utilization, staffing trends) and provide actionable insights to business leaders. Partner on benefits cycle tasks (open enrollment, vendor coordination, communication to employees) and support system optimization of HRIS/benefits portals. Drive and support HR system optimization, including data integrity, process improvement, and leveraging HR technology. Provide day-to-day HR consultation to managers and employees on issues such as performance, coaching, discipline, policy interpretation, and compliance. Collaborate with payroll, benefits, recruitment and HR admin teams to ensure smooth HR operations and a seamless employee experience. Facilitate change management, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives in partnership with the HR Director and business leadership. What You’ll Bring to the Role Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of HR experience, including strong employee relations/investigations and business partnering in a dynamic environment. Solid understanding of employment laws, HR metrics, HRIS/HRMS systems, benefits and compensation fundamentals. Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership. Excellent analytical skills, strong problem-solving orientation, and ability to translate data into meaningful recommendations. Demonstrated project management skills and ability to lead HR-related initiatives. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees. Able to travel along the Gulf Coast up to 25%. Must be within reasonable commuting distance of a PMI Office Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly preferred HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI, etc.) Experience working in a multi-site or multi-state HR environment. Change management, organizational development or talent management experience. Prior experience optimizing HRIS or benefits platforms, or leading HR process improvement efforts.
