The Role You’ll Play The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a key leadership role in advancing Pawnee Mental Health’s people strategy. This position oversees all internal and external recruitment efforts across the organization, supervises one HR Coordinator, and partners closely with leaders to support organizational structure, workforce development, and employee relations. The HRBP serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, helping align departmental actions with the agency’s strategic vision. This role is also responsible for managing employee relations matters, including investigations and ADA accommodations, and supporting leadership development initiatives as needed. What You’ll Do: Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals and operational needs. Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts, developing strategies to attract, hire, and retain qualified talent. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, ADA accommodations, and performance concerns. Support organizational change initiatives through planning, communication, and employee engagement strategies. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and compliance practices in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Assist in the design and administration of compensation programs and conduct market research to support competitive pay practices. Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning opportunities to support employee growth and leadership development. Track, analyze, and report on key HR metrics and trends to support data-informed decision-making. Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and employee feedback efforts. Perform HR clerical and administrative duties as needed. Review and comply with the Pawnee Code of Conduct outlined in the Employee Handbook. Perform all other reasonably related duties as assigned by leadership. Requirements Required: High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of Human Resources experience Organized with excellent communication skills both oral and written using the English language Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and professionality Preferred: Customer service experience Supervisory experience Related post-secondary education or experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Related post-secondary education or experience with Microsoft Office Suite All employees will be required to submit to and pass a background check and drug screening.
