Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR and payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS software, ideally Workday.
  • Have a working knowledge and understanding of talent management, organizational effectiveness, learning and development, compensation and pay setting, employee relations, HR compliance, and recruitment & retention strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Dutch labor laws and regulations.
  • English language proficiency.
Responsibilities

Workday Management

  • Maintain and update the Workday HR Information System, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Generate and analyze HR reports and metrics using Workday to support decision-making and strategic planning. Lead or participate in Workday-related projects and initiatives to enhance HR processes and systems.

Payroll

  • Accurately process monthly payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes. Ensure compliance with country and local payroll regulations & CAO/ CLA (Collective Labor Agreements). Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.

Employee Relations

  • Address employee inquiries and concerns, provide guidance on HR policies, and foster a positive work environment. Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews. Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees. Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and enhance employee experience.
