Are you a HR Business Partner who thrives in a fast-paced, change environment, or a HR go-getter keen to progress into HR Business partnering in a Head Office environment?
We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join our friendly, small People team at Refresco UK – the worlds leading independent Beverage solutions provider. Based at our Head Office in Kegworth (J24 of the M1), this role supports our Head Office teams in the UK business, partnering all the way up to our Leadership team.
You will be self-motivated and confident, and have the special ability to balance both our tactical People requirements, whilst helping to deliver the vision and Strategy of our 3–5-year people plan.
You will have exemplary partnering skills, with a strong ER focus, great attention to detail and organisational skills, with good all round generalist HR experience and knowledge.

OUR HR DIRECTOR HAS RECENTLY JOINED THE UK BUSINESS, BRINGING IN ENERGY, LEADERSHIP AND VISION AND THIS IS A NEW ROLE, PART OF A RECENT REORGANISATION OF THE REFRESCO UK HR FUNCTION, ALIGNING THE TEAM CLOSELY WITH THE REFRESCO UK BUSINESS.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As HR Business Partner for Head Office support functions (Commercial / Marketing / IT / Finance / Supply Chain / Technical & Quality / Central Engineering, HSE and OPEX) you are a key member and role model in the HR function, and you report to the Senior HRBP. You will have a high degree of autonomy to be proactive with your key stakeholders, build positive working relationships right from the outset, providing expertise, guidance and sound advice and solutions for people strategic initiatives and issues.
We have a Refresco UK Head Office population of approximately 200 colleagues (mainly based at our Kegworth Head Office).
AS AN EXPERIENCED HR BUSINESS PARTNER YOU WILL KNOW THAT NO TWO DAYS ARE THE SAME, HOWEVER, SOME OF THE KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INVOLVED IN THIS ROLE ARE TO:
- Establish and embed People Plans within central head office functions to create an ongoing, engaged culture.
- Maintain strategic alignment with the wider business and HR strategy taking into consideration changing priorities and challenges.
- Establish and maintain influential relationships with your key stakeholders, supporting and coaching them to develop their HR capability.
- As the HR expert, with a strong ER background, provide guidance on all people practices and deliver strategic HR initiatives.
- Question and challenge to get to the root of people and business issues, encouraging and embracing change and transformation, whilst understanding the “day to day” challenges.
- Identify and influence internal talent pipelines, whilst supporting with external recruitment requirements, ensuring critical skills/knowledge gaps and future goals are covered.Responsible for the full suite of HR Policies – ensuring legal compliance with simplicity and clarity.
