ABOUT US

Renaissance® is a global leader in education technology. We help schools and school groups in the UK and around the world with educational assessments, practice and intervention solutions, and data analytics. Renaissance now incorporates GL Assessment (known internationally as GL Education), too – a leading provider of educational assessments.
Together, our assessments offer the ideal starting point to help teachers understand their students’ strengths and pinpoint areas of need. Our teaching and learning tools then provide effective next steps, with online literacy and maths solutions that meet students exactly where we are.
Worldwide, we support over 18 million students, operating in over 100 countries.

Are you a strategic HR leader passionate about enabling high-performing, inclusive teams? • Lead on organisational design and workforce planning to support international growth.
  • Drive engagement and retention strategies, ensuring action plans from our Culture Amp survey are delivered.
  • Support talent development by identifying capability gaps and creating targeted development plans.
  • Collaborate with Centres of Excellence to deliver consistent, effective HR services.
  • Mentor HR Advisors and support complex employee relations matters.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive workplace culture and act as a mediator when needed.
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Coach managers to build high-performing teams and challenge the status quo.
  • Build strong relationships across the business and be recognised as a credible HR expert.
  • Partner with UK and US HR teams to share best practices and deliver impactful HR initiatives globally.
  • What you’ll bring:*
  • Experience partnering with Commercial/GTM teams (Sales, Customer Experience, Customer Support) across EMEA/APAC.
  • Background in global organisations, with experience collaborating across HR functions and geographies.
  • Strong change management expertise and the ability to lead through transformation.
  • CIPD Level 5 Minimum qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance across relevant regions.
  • Confidence using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical, people-centred solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.
  • A data-informed mindset, using metrics to support decision-making and demonstrate impact.
