The Role: Are you a results-driven HR professional with experience navigating complex Employee Relations challenges? Restaurant Brands NZ Ltd. is looking for a talented HR Business Partner to support our fast-paced business. As an HRBP, you will be a trusted partner to Restaurant and Area Managers and provide HR leadership across a range of functions, with a particular focus on tackling complex ER issues. You’ll manage and resolve employee relations matters while ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice, driving a positive and high-performing culture. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a large and growing business. Key Responsibilities: Provide operational HR support across a large, multi-site operation. Advise on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent handling. Manage grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management processes. Coach and mentor line managers in effective HR practices and policies. Implement and improve HR policies and procedures across the business. Collaborate with senior leadership to drive cultural transformation and improve employee engagement. Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies. Provide advice and support as required for restructures and change management. Deliver training on HR processes, employee relations, and conflict resolution. About You: Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, with a strong background in Employee Relations within a large, fast-paced environment, preferably in a unionised QSR or retail setting. In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the business. Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Experience of working with unions Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven HR management. Ability to do some evening and weekend work to support the field, as well as being able to travel to NZ locations as required. Why Join Us?
