We’re currently seeking a proactive and strategic HR Business Partner to join our growing Ipswich-based team. If you’re passionate about organisational development, employee engagement, and strategic HR delivery, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 5–7 years’ HR experience, including at least 3 years in a strategic or business partner role.
  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance and talent management, and organisational development.
  • In-depth understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record in delivering HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience with HR software (e.g. HRIS, payroll systems) and reporting people metrics to senior leaders.
  • Comfortable managing change and driving continuous improvement across teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • CIPD Chartered Membership (or working towards).
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an HR Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, championing a people-first approach while aligning HR strategy with our overall business goals. You’ll drive change, support leadership development, and ensure we foster a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative workplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with leadership to understand business needs, offering HR insight to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, organisational design, and change initiatives.
  • Lead workforce planning, succession strategies, and leadership development programmes.
  • Deliver performance management guidance, including feedback processes, performance reviews, and improvement plans.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues, including grievances and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.
  • Promote employee engagement and wellbeing by supporting open communication between teams and leadership.
  • Use HR analytics to identify workforce trends, improve employee retention, and inform strategic planning.
  • Oversee organisational development initiatives, including role structure reviews and cultural transformation projects.
  • Ensure HR compliance with all UK employment legislation and industry best practices.
  • Manage HR projects and system improvements, and contribute to policy development and implementation.
