Description:

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions’ Underground Drilling Division has end-to-end responsibility for product management, new product development (including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain), product marketing and technical sales support for Underground Drills in mining and tunneling.
We are now looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Underground Drilling Production unit in Tampere site and be part of our Production Management Team. This is a temporary fixed-term (minimum one year) parental leave substitution position based in Myllypuro Tampere, Finland. There is an opportunity for hybrid working.
Your role

As an HR Business Partner, you will be part of the Production unit management team and you are responsible for owning and implementing People and Culture strategy for our Production unit (approximately 400 people). Your role is important and wide and here are couple examples what your role includes:

  • You lead changes and development projects related to talent management, organization culture, and safety with the Production management team, people managers and other stakeholders.
  • You will be a trusted advisor in HR topics and by supporting, coaching, influencing, and providing your HR knowledge you will help your colleagues to reach their goals. Familiarity with Collective Agreements and Labor law will help you with this.
  • You drive modern safety culture development together with site EHS and other divisions safety organizations, including occupational health management. You have one safety specialist reporting to you.
  • You support and contribute into global and country HR initiatives in cooperation with the division HR Director and Sandvik HR Community. You own and drive the common HR initiatives implementation in the Production unit.
  • Your days are filled with meetings, one-on-one interactions and operational topics requiring immediate focus as well as individual work as you are planning long term roadmaps, giving trainings, creating communication materials, and making personal impact through interactions with people.

Your profile
We are looking for an experienced HR generalist and a great colleague into our team! You have experience from leading changes and development programs in complex matrix organizations. You have previous work experience working together with business and employee representatives in genuine co-operation and you are familiar with Collective agreements. You are a people person at heart with strong business acumen and know how to link the business and the people agenda. You have excellent communication skills, and you are a natural team player and easily build relationships with different stakeholders at all levels of the organization. To succeed in this role in our diverse environment, fluency in both Finnish and English is required.

Recruitment process
