HR Business Partner
Spinal Life Australia is a non-profit organisation that provides expert knowledge, specialist therapies and supports tailored for people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities. We’re the largest provider of support services to people living with spinal cord injury in Australia.
We are seeking a HR Business Partner to join our Head Office Team based at Woolloongabba on a permanent full-time basis.
The HR Business Partner will work collaboratively with individual business units to support strategic business objectives by delivering integrated HR solutions. Specifically, the position will partner with managers and employees across business units to provide a high level of support, pragmatic advice and quality service on people issues and solutions. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the HR Business Partner will lead and support regular cyclical HR activities and respond to business needs adopting a professional, timely and best practice approach.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a broad understanding of individual business units service offerings and needs in order to provide tailored HR advice impacting on daily operational and non-operational workplace matters.
Provide proactive and pragmatic advice, support and service to business units on employee issues, performance matters, disciplinary issues and grievance/conflict resolution.
Manage end to end people management processes for relevant business units including but not limited to organisational structure, position management, appointment management, job design and position classification, and separation processes.
Project management of HR-related strategies and initiatives, and drive successful implementation incorporating relevant change management activities.
Provide leadership and support to the HR Coordinator and HR Administration Coordinator to ensure daily operational effectiveness.
Support, coach and facilitate strong people management within the Organisation through training, awareness and development programs relating to HR practices, policies and procedures.
Maintain a current knowledge of legislation and regulation that relate to HR issues and develop appropriate policies and procedures.
Identify, review and develop policies, processes and procedures that underpin the HR strategies, projects and philosophies within the Organisation.
