As a strong relationship builder, you will have the ability and confidence to engage with managers and employees and to influence them to achieve key business outcomes.   There are a host of responsibilities which make the position both interesting and rewarding including  * Business Partnering * Adept at providing HR support to directors, senior managers and line managers in all aspects of management and support of their teams. * Advise and guide senior management on all aspects of employment legislation. * First point of contact for all high-level HR related business matters. * To partner with different business units (BUs), understanding their needs from HR perspective and providing them appropriate solutions * Assisting management in implementing different HR policies and initiatives across the BUs * On-boarding * To make sure the on boarding and induction programs are conducted as per agreed timelines * Conducting the HR induction for all new joiners * Performance management * Helping HR Manager in completing the periodic performance management review process * Custodian of the Performance management system (Talent Hub) * Solving employee queries regarding performance management process * Remuneration * To oversee and manage a heavy and objectives-based workload, meeting on going deadlines on a frequent basis and following the current HRIS and Reward annual cycle   * Employee relations * Succession planning * Workforce wellbeing and workforce development  * Supporting Human Resource strategies * Undertaking projects that keep Stantec’s workforce engaged and motivated * To support the HR Manager, ensuring all work is delivered to the highest of standards * To follow STANTEC’s code of conduct and ethics at all times * To maintain the highest standards of confidentiality      Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting.
