TELUS Digital AI Data Solutions is seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to support our AI business unit in Finland and across the Nordic countries. Reporting to the EU-based HR Manager, this position is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR function within an international company
  • Fluency in Finnish and English (written and spoken) is a must
  • A strong operational knowledge of Finnish labor legislation, including employment laws, regulations, and collective agreements. Knowledge of other Nordic/ countries’ labour law is a plus
  • Proven record to run HR annual processes independently
  • Experience in working across functions and in matrix set-ups
  • Work on-site in Tampere, Hermia (minimum 2 days/week)
  • Experience supporting team members across multiple countries (preferred)
  • Proficiency in GSuite
  • Supportive and flexible mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing work environment
  • Experience in employee engagement initiatives

Responsibilities
  • Address first-hand HR inquiries through multiple channels related to onboarding, time management, benefits, absenteeism, and offboarding. Ensure compliance with policies and standards while taking ownership of the solutions provided
  • Provide comprehensive HR support to employees and managers, including employee relations, training, and development
  • Provide HR policy guidance
  • Manage administrative duties related to employee records, occupational health care etc.
  • Consult on HR implications of operational decisions
  • Implement global HR principles and processes
  • Carry out employee engagement initiatives
