Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a HR Business Partner, you will take responsibility for ensuring the delivery of a world class and efficient HR service to both employees and line managers within the Head Office & Transport business areas.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead HR Advisory teams in Head Office & Transport
  • Keep open communication with team members through regular meetings, ensuring important matters are shared, workloads are managed and resources are allocated effectively
  • Develop team members, conduct evaluations, and implement development plans to foster a pipeline of HR talent progressing from entry-level to advisory roles
  • Assist HR advisors with their workload, overseeing diverse cases including disciplinary, grievance and capability issues- particularly complex cases
  • Engage with directors and senior leaders to resolve intricate employee relations issues, considering business objectives when influencing decisions
  • Enhance HR processes within the business, building relationships with key stakeholders to provide valuable and commercially-orientated HR advice
  • Anticipate potential employee issues and collaborating with leaders to address concerns before they escalate
  • Align HR strategy with overall company goals and customising approaches for the business area’s unique culture
  • Compile monthly HR KPI report for review by senior management
  • Adapt to business needs and perform additional duties as required
