We’re seeking a strategic, compliance-minded leader to join our team as an Assistant Director – HR Compliance . This role will play a critical part in ensuring HR operations align with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies — and focus on partnering with the SBCU to strengthen our compliance framework.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the CCO to implement, and oversee HR compliance policies and procedures.
  • Lead compliance risk assessments and conduct testing to identify and address program gaps.
  • Build and refine the HR Compliance Program with a strategic, cross-functional lens.
  • Provide expert legal and technical advice on employment laws, contract provisions, and HR regulations.
  • Serve as a compliance advisor on major business initiatives and projects.
  • Mentor team members and deliver training that reinforces a culture of compliance.
  • Explore automation opportunities to enhance compliance oversight and efficiency.
  • Assist in SBCU compliance efforts.
  • Travel occasionally as needed for business needs.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in compliance, employment law, or risk management (JD or MBA may substitute for some experience).
  • Proven experience building or significantly enhancing a compliance program is highly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and the regulatory landscape.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in compliance reporting and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Project management capabilities are a plus.

Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $123000 - $167000 / year Time Off Program: Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
