Description Position Overview The HR Compliance Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function, with a focus on onboarding, New Employee Orientation (NEO), training support, and staff readiness. This role supports organizational compliance efforts and contributes to maintaining accurate records, effective communication, and consistent HR processes across the organization. Working in collaboration with HR leadership and training staff, the HR Coordinator supports efforts related to new hire onboarding and orientation, staff preparation, documentation, and general compliance tracking. This position plays an important role in helping ensure new and existing employees feel supported, informed, and prepared to meet organizational expectations. Key Responsibilities Onboarding, Orientation & Staff Support Support onboarding activities for new and returning staff, including documentation tracking and onboarding checklist coordination. Assist with planning, coordinating, and supporting New Employee Orientation (NEO) for all new hires. Serve as a point of support for new employees by answering basic onboarding and orientation-related questions. Support communication with new hires regarding onboarding steps, orientation schedules, and required follow-ups. Assist with staff readiness efforts for seasonal and year-round programming. Training & Compliance Support Assist with tracking and supporting completion of required trainings and professional development activities. Support general training coordination efforts, including registration assistance, recordkeeping, and basic troubleshooting. Help maintain organized training and compliance records to support internal reviews and reporting need Assist with compliance-related activities as directed by HR leadership. Records & Documentation Maintain organized personnel-related records and documentation in accordance with organizational practices. Assist with collecting and organizing documentation for internal needs, reviews, and external requirements. Support accurate data entry and record maintenance across HR systems and tracking tools. Collaboration & Communication Communicate professionally with staff and supervisors regarding onboarding, orientation, training, and documentation needs. Provide updates to HR leadership related to onboarding and orientation progress. Participate in meetings and planning discussions related to HR operations and staff support. Support continuous improvement of HR processes, tools, and workflows. Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred. Previous experience in administrative support, HR support, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with standard office software and digital systems. Preferred Skills Experience supporting onboarding, New Employee Orientation, training, or compliance-related processes. Familiarity with nonprofit, educational, or human services environments. Exposure to HR systems, onboarding platforms, or training tools.
