POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a hands-on HR Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources for our growing organization. This role is both strategic and operational, responsible for managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and benefits administration. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership while fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR practices align with company goals and legal requirements. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to balance people needs with business objectives

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, interviewing, and hiring talent across departments
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure compliance and a smooth new hire experience.
  • Employee Relations
  • Serve as a key resource for employee concerns, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the company’s values.
  • Compliance & Labor Law
  • Ensure HR policies comply with federal, state, and local cannabis labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Maintain employee records and licensing compliance (METRC, state IDs, background checks, etc.).
  • Training & Development
  • Develop training programs on topics such as compliance, workplace safety, harassment prevention, and cannabis industry knowledge.
  • Support leadership and professional development initiatives.
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Oversee payroll administration and coordinate with finance/accounting.
  • Administer employee benefit programs and recommend improvements.
