Position Overview: Join our growing HR Compliance team and play a key role in supporting the critical processes that keep our company aligned with ever-evolving regulations. In this newly created position, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and grow your career in a dynamic and fun HR environment. Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, fully remote position, with minimal travel for team and company sponsored meetings, when required (1-2 times per year).

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the HR Compliance inbox, triage inquiries, and escalate or route as needed.
  • Process employee data updates in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Maintain the I-9 system and manage labor law postings across all agency locations and keep internal systems updated.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports such as EEO-1 and California Pay Data.
  • Respond to personnel file requests, follow up with candidates regarding flagged background checks, and prepare termination documents as needed.
  • Digitally file and maintain compliance documentation for internal accessibility and audit readiness.
  • Provide administrative support for HR Compliance and Leave of Absence team projects (i.e. job descriptions, employee handbook updates, and system conversions).
  • Perform audits to verify the accuracy of employee records.
  • Research legislative updates and regulatory changes and help communicate changes internally.
