What You’ll Do: As an HR Consultant, you’ll serve as a hands-on partner to our clients, managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance, and helping leaders create strong, scalable people practices that support their growth. Support 2–4 client accounts as the day-to-day HR contact, building trusted relationships with key leaders and employees. Deliver accurate, timely HR support across onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and compliance activities. Assist with employee relations, performance documentation, and policy interpretation. Develop and maintain HR handbooks, procedures, and records in compliance with multi-state regulations. Coordinate and support HR projects such as compliance audits, handbook updates, and HRIS implementations. Identify and recommend process improvements or compliance updates across client portfolios. Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams to ensure expectations are met and deliverables stay on track. Demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, and discretion in every client interaction. What You Bring: 2–6 years of progressive HR generalist experience across multiple functional areas. Strong working knowledge of employment law, benefits, payroll, and HR operations. Proven ability to balance multiple client priorities with accuracy and timeliness. Experience supporting small- to mid-sized or high-growth companies preferred. Familiarity with Paylocity, BambooHR, EmployeeNavigator, or similar systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interact confidently with clients and peers. Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (required); SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
