Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations casework including Disciplinary, Grievances, Appeals, Redundancy and consultation processes. These will have varying degrees of complexity
  • Provide managers with pragmatic and commercial advice in line with best practice, legislation and fairness.
  • From an Absence and Wellbeing perspective you’ll be aligned to an area of the business giving advice to managers on all sickness absence including ill health capability. You’ll also work closely with our external service providers including Occupational Health and our Group Insurance provider
  • You’ll provide expert advice to managers to support them through complex people matters to achieve the best outcome for the business and individuals
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partners to deliver initiatives across the business
  • Share industry best practices to support personal development
  • Design and deliver initiatives to support Management Development and capability
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders within HR but also in the wider business
  • Draw on the experience and knowledge within the other HR Centre of Excellences
  • Ensure management of people issues is consistent with Computacenter’s values.
