Join our team as a Human Resources Consultant, where you'll play a key role in guiding clients through critical HR functions-from recruiting and onboarding to policy development and employee relations. This is a dynamic opportunity to apply your expertise in employment practices while making a meaningful impact across a variety of industries. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All duties are for clients and not internal HR: Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations. Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork. Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software. Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns. Schedule or conduct new employee orientations. Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms. Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures. Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Management, or related. 5+ years of comprehensive HR experience (Payroll, Benefits Administration, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations and Compliance). SHRM Certification Preferred. Demonstrated strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work by managing multiple HR projects simultaneously Exceptional client service skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
