We are seeking a skilled and proactive HR Business Partner or HR consultant to support and advise on employee relations matters while driving a positive and productive workplace culture. In this role, you will partner with leaders, managers, and employees to promote best practices, resolve conflicts, and ensure the consistent application of company policies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of employee relations strategies and be able to navigate complex employee issues while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in employee relations, HR, or a related field, with a strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution, investigations, and providing employee relations guidance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and other HR-related software tools is a plus.
    Ideally: Current National Police Clearance and Working with Childens Clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, employee conduct, and policy interpretation.
  • Investigate and resolve workplace issues, complaints, and grievances in a fair, timely, and legally compliant manner.
  • Collaborate with management to address and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the workplace remains compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement strategies that promote employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Advise on disciplinary actions, terminations, and workplace investigations, ensuring consistency and fairness in decision-making.
  • Promote a positive work culture by supporting diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being initiatives.
  • Maintain thorough records of employee relations cases, including actions taken and resolutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws, best practices, and emerging trends in employee relations.
