EDUCATION

  • A university degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Labour Relations or related disciplinary.
  • CHRP designation considered an asset.

EXPERIENCE

Three (3-5) years Human Resource experience demonstrating working knowledge in:

  • Labour Relations, Sask and Federal Labour Standards.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects at the same time with superb accuracy.
  • Multicultural beliefs, values, and perspectives with particular emphasis on First Nations and Metis cultural understandings.

Awareness and knowledge of:

  • Issues surrounding the challenges faced by First Nations children, youth and families in Saskatchewan.
  • First Nations programs and service standards, practice, policies, and procedures in urban and rural First Nations settings including but are not limited to group homes, prevention, boards, youth shelters, income assistance and caregivers.
  • First Nations cultural understandings and protocols.
