Description Adventures by Dawn is seeking an HR Coordinator to support recruiting and HR operations across multiple locations while serving as the primary HR contact for our Charlotte team. This is a hands-on HR generalist role with a strong focus on recruiting and talent acquisition in a fast-paced operational environment. The right candidate is organized, people-focused, and comfortable working directly with frontline employees and supervisors. This role plays an important part in helping the company attract, hire, and support the people who keep our operations running across multiple markets. Requirements What You'll Do Own the full-cycle recruiting process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer processing Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for high-volume and hard-to-fill positions Partner with operations leadership to forecast hiring needs and prioritize open roles Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and system setup Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and HR procedures Assist with employee relations matters and escalate when appropriate Maintain accurate employee records and HR files in compliance with company policy and applicable laws Support HR reporting and help track key metrics such as turnover, headcount, time-to-fill, and attendance Help coordinate training and development activities for hourly and operational staff Provide HR support to other Adventures by Dawn locations as needed, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws What We're Looking For 1-3 years of experience in an HR, recruiting, or people operations role Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting, preferably supporting high-volume or hourly workforce environments Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working directly with frontline employees and supervisors Basic knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and onboarding processes Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Paylocity or a similar HRIS/ATS is a plus Why Adventures by Dawn Competitive pay and benefits Opportunity to grow within a company operating across multiple markets A team that values reliability, communication, and doing the job right A fast-paced environment where your work directly supports operations and employee success
