Description

MAKE AN IMPACT. SUPPORT OUR TEAM. HELP US GROW.

At the Autism Center of Excellence, we provide high-quality ABA therapy services to children with autism across North Carolina , Maryland, and Virginia. Our mission is rooted in compassion, evidence-based care, and a deep commitment to empowering families. We’re looking for a Human Resources Coordinator who’s ready to make a difference—by supporting the people who make that care possible.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As our HR Coordinator, you’ll be a key member of the Human Resources team—ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations, compliance with healthcare regulations, and a positive experience for employees across our clinics. If you thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and have healthcare HR experience, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities
  • Manage onboarding tasks including background checks, credentialing, and verifying current healthcare certifications
  • Serve as the go-to resource for employee inquiries about benefits, payroll, and HR policies
  • Maintain precise employee records within our HRIS while ensuring HIPAA and employment law compliance
  • Coordinate and monitor staff training, including annual compliance and clinical development sessions
  • Administer various types of leave, such as FMLA, ADA, and medical-related leave
  • Support policy development and updates to align with regulations and industry standards
  • Partner with clinic leadership to address staffing needs and foster positive employee relations
  • Oversee the performance evaluation process and assist in crafting improvement plans when necessary
  • Lead employee engagement activities, including wellness initiatives and recognition programs
  • Contribute to broader HR efforts involving compliance, diversity, inclusion, and staff engagement
