HR COORDINATOR – CHILCA PROJECT – HUMAN RESOURCES

At Bradken, we’re looking for a dynamic and dedicated HR Coordinator (Permanent Full-time Position) to support our Chilca Foundry operations.
As part of our HR team, you will play a key role in driving the company’s Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives. This position will allow you to develop your HR expertise across various employee lifecycle stages, from recruitment and onboarding to training, local labor law, internal company policies, and performance management, all while making a successful impact of our growing business.
If you’re passionate about advancing HR initiatives that promote a positive, compliant, and productive workplace, this role is for you. You will collaborate with leaders, contribute to HR projects involving task administration and compliance, and ensure alignment with Bradken’s values and operational goals.
You bring excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. With an understanding of payroll, you excel at building strong relationships on-site, supporting leaders to ensure compliance, providing employee administrative support, and driving retention efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Labor Law or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in HR roles such as HR Generalist, Employee Relations Analyst/Coordinator, HR and Payroll Administrator, or HRBP Analyst, with a focus on employee relations, local labor law compliance for salaried and wage roles, recruitment, and compliance.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Familiarity with payroll and benefits processes and systems is a plus but not mandatory.
  • High-Turnover Environments: Proven experience managing HR operations in high-rotation workplaces is strongly preferred.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience in manufacturing, foundries, plants, mining, or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
  • Certifications: Specialization, courses or certification in HR Generalist and/or Labor Law are highly valued.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, along with employee performance systems, is required.
  • Language Skills: Intermediate or conversational English proficiency (B1 or B2) is a plus but not mandatory.
    Location: The role will be based in our Chilca Foundry, located in G74J+WH, Chilca 15870 (Transportation will be provided).

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • HR Support: Act as an HR specialist, implementing policies, systems, and solutions to address challenges.
  • Recruitment for Wage Roles: Assist the HR team in postings, job offers, benefits and contract administration for wage employees.
  • Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding for all new hires, ensuring timely delivery of contracts and smooth integration into the organization.
  • Training Support: Assist with training needs developing operational programs and ensure compliance by tracking participation through the Learning Management System.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Support leaders on talent and performance assessments, address employee relations, and implement strategies to support retention.
  • HR Administration: Manage contracts and renewals for all employees, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies in collaboration with the HRBP.
  • Collaboration and Leadership Support: Foster open communication, promote diversity and inclusion, and assist leadership in setting workforce goals and driving engagement.
