Position Details:
The Employee Engagement Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the overall employee experience through onboarding, engagement initiatives, and support at Bayshore HealthCare. This position ensures that new employees have a smooth onboarding process, are integrated into the organization effectively, and receive continuous engagement touchpoints. This role manages all employee engagement activities at the branch.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management.
  • CHRP an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Excellent technological skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to foster positive workplace relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

EXPERIENCE

  • Two or more years of employee engagement or human resources experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead onboarding process and employee orientation for new hires.
  • Collaborate with leadership to provide comprehensive introduction to company policies, culture, and expectations.
  • Complete all onboarding documentation in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular touch-ins with new employees to assess their onboarding experience, address concerns, and answer questions.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to managers based on employee interactions to support retention and engagement.
  • Complete annual engagement surveys with employees.
  • Monitor and analyze attendance data to identify patterns and trends, share data with leadership for attendance management purposes.
  • Plan and organize engagement events in-office and in the field including drop in events, employee recognition programs, and social events.
  • Act as primary point of contact for social committee, facilitating meetings, organizing activities, managing budget and leading event execution.
  • Manage the budget allocated for employee engagement activities, ensuring that spending aligns with company guidelines.
  • Create and distribute monthly newsletter for employees, including information such as policy changes/reminders, employee achievements, and

    upcoming events.

  • Other HR duties as required.
