This opportunity is located in the community of Steinbach, MB.

YOUR DAYS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Preparing onboarding packages, facilitating weekly orientation sessions, and coordinating manager introductions.
  • Collecting, verifying, managing and uploading required documents (tax forms, benefits, pension, ID photos, etc.) in HRIS.
  • Enrolling employees in benefits, monitoring enrollment, and submitting applicable forms and documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records in UKG and SharePoint.
  • Managing monthly benefit submissions, tracking payments and relevant documentation.
  • Responding to employee requests via the HR triage inbox, providing timely and accurate support.
  • Generating employment letters, internal announcements, and responding to general information access requests.
  • Tracking employee leaves, coordinating updates with Payroll and Recruitment, and submitting required documents.
  • Maintaining SOPs, job descriptions, and HR documentation.
  • Providing administrative support to HR leadership and assisting in special projects.
  • Contributing to front desk coverage and cross-functional HR initiatives as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, preferably 1 year experience in an HR support position.
  • HR Certificate is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and computer skills.
  • Excellent at priority and project management.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Team player and can work independently.
