IFAB Corp is looking for an administrative assistant to join our team in our Gastonia, North Carolina office. This person will work to support the daily operations of the HR Team. The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications. ** Candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Facilitate new hire orientation, prepare welcome materials, manage HRIS data, and process exit documentation. Assist with recruitment (sourcing, scheduling interviews, background checks), maintain employee records, support payroll and benefits administration, and ensure compliance with regulations. Respond to HR-related inquiries, assist with performance management, conduct exit interviews, and support employee engagement effort. Implement HR policies, maintain filing systems, ensure compliance with labor laws, and assist with reporting and documentation. Book and coordinate travel and expense reports for all employees. Required: Minimum 2 years of HR, administrative, or coordinator experience. Strong organizational and time management skills. High emotional stability and professionalism when handling sensitive matters. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. Preferred: Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial environments. Bilingual (English and Spanish)
