The Rehabilitation Team has an opportunity for a Human Resource Assistant/Onboarding Specialist, an essential part of our HR Support Team. The department has a passion for working with people and treating every employee as our customer. We are looking for individuals that are open to working in the office and supporting teams in 130 different facilities in 6 states.
This role is perfect if you are extremely organized, driven, naturally build trust relationships, and have a strong follow up process. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, in particular)
  • Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (Workday, Smarlinx)
  • In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities
  • Familiarity with social media recruiting
  • Outstanding communication, Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Good organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

EDUCATION:

  • Associates or Bachelors in Business or Human Resources
  • 2-5 years proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Must be able to pass pre employment criminal background and reference checks.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for completing the online onboarding of all new hires with the HRIS system (Workday) and maintaining ongoing status of all offers and completed onboarding for Therapy New Hires for 130 facilities in 7 states.
  • Will ensure accurate transition of new hire candidate to hire in all HR systems (Smarlinx Payroll, Relias Training, Workday HRIS, Apploi Applicant Tracking)
  • Will assist with employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Assists with maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, and employment law.
  • Assists in coordinating Retain Engagement Activities and Surveys
  • Conducts/monitors exit interviews
  • Tracks and coordinates HR Metrics reports as required.
  • Coordinates Special Events and Presentations (Cultural Events, Employee Engagement Activities/gifts, etc)
  • Assists with coordinating scheduling of training and manage/monitors training data in the learning management system (LMS).
  • Manages and participates in various special projects and initiatives.
  • Supports company leaders as it relates to employee relations.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback, Performance Review Module implementation, etc.
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Assist supervisors in performance management procedures.
  • Assist in performing orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
