You’ll play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle and ensuring our HR services run smoothly and efficiently. Your work will involve both high-volume processing and stakeholder support. Ngā Haepapa Matua | Key Responsibilities (not limited too): Supporting recruitment processes, including offer approvals and onboarding Providing end-to-end HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle (contracts, parental leave, variations, secondments, exits, and more) Processing and interpreting high volumes of HR information with a strong focus on accuracy and detail Advising staff and managers on HR policies, processes, and guidelines Providing system support (e.g. Workday or similar) and guidance to employees and managers Working closely with Faculty support staff and wider HR teams Partnering with Payroll and other HR teams to ensure accurate employee data Responding to queries across multiple channels Building strong, trusted relationships across the organization Contributing ideas to improve systems, processes, and service delivery The role is a full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week) The remuneration is $63,300 - $70,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience. For more information about this role, please refer to the Position Description He kōrero mōu | About you You’ll bring: Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an HR environment Experience supporting the employee lifecycle and the processing of data in a fast-paced environment Confidence working with HR systems - experience with Workday would be advantageous (or similar large platforms) Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with excellent written and verbal communication skills A good understanding of HR processes, policies, and guidelines A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong customer service focus and ability to manage competing priorities The ability to build relationships across a wide range of people Experience in a large or complex organisation (such as the tertiary or public sector) would be advantageous Familiarity with ticketing or case management systems Knowledge of NZ employment legislation Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou | What we offer The University of Auckland is New Zealand's leading University and maintains significant computational, laboratory, and analytic facilities.
