POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Coordinator with a focus on Skilled Trades and Construction to support full-cycle recruitment, employee onboarding, compliance, and workforce engagement across our growing multi-provincial operations. The ideal candidate will bring interprovincial HR experience and a strong understanding of construction industry standards, safety certifications, and provincial labour regulations. This role also plays a key part in event coordination, training, and retention efforts to foster a strong and connected workforce.

TALENT ACQUISITION & SKILLED TRADES RECRUITMENT

Develop and manage recruiting strategies to attract top talent across a variety of skilled trades (e.g., electricians)

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates locally, interprovincially, and internationally as needed.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the hiring process, from job postings to final offer letters.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of trade professionals to meet the demands of ongoing and future projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of recruitment or HR coordination experience in the construction or skilled trades sector.
  • Proven experience supporting operations across multiple provinces, including BC, ON.
  • Familiarity with Canadian construction standards, safety regulations, and trade classifications.
  • Strong knowledge of provincial employment standards and interprovincial labour mobility.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in using HR systems, along with the Microsoft Office Suite.
