Position Summary The Human Resources Generalist supports daily HR operations in a fast-paced automotive dealership, including employee data entry, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and recruiting. This role serves as a key resource for employees and management while helping ensure efficient processes and a positive workplace environment. Responsibilities · Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation · Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire setup, orientations, exit procedures, and documentation · Manage employee enrollments for health insurance coverage · Manage unemployment claims and workers’ compensation cases · Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing · Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations · Answer employee questions regarding pay, benefits, or policies · Provide general administrative support to the HR function and dealership leadership as needed Requirements · 2+ years of Human Resources experience · Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices · Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally · Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities · Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications · HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus Compensation & Benefits · $45,000 - $55,000 annually · Medical, dental, and vision insurance · Ancillary benefit options · Retirement plan · Paid time off (PTO) · Paid holidays
