HR COORDINATOR

Chatham – Office Based
Salary - Dependant on experience - pro rata
20 – 22 hours per week, flexible on working hours however these must include a Thursday and Friday, with the ability to cover 9.00am – 17.00pm for holiday cover as required.
We are an innovative HR Team seeking a motivated HR Coordinator to be the HR Lead on project work along with assisting with the day-to-day functions of the HR department.
Main duties of the role include:
· Maintain the HR Departments electronic based computer records to track and control policies and procedures.
· Build effective working relationships with managers at all levels within the business and elsewhere across Swiis Group.
· HR processes such as joiner and leaver processes, maternity/paternity, sickness, contract of employment changes such as promotion, flexible working, salary increases, references, change of job role etc.
· Ensure HR personnel files are compliant. Obtain documentation for new joiners and check files for any outstanding documentation and chase as required.
· Assist with all aspects of recruitment and placement of recruitment advertisements and where required.
· Assist with job evaluation and / or benchmarking of all roles where required.
· Take a lead role in wellbeing and engagement, learning & development and the company benefit schemes.
· Take responsibility for specific medium scale projects and initiatives to support the achievement of Company and HR strategies.
· HR Lead for the HR MIS System, reviewing the system and streamlining where required.
· Maintaining a clear understanding and providing up to date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates.
· Keep up to date and ensure that all guidelines, standards, policies and procedures are adhered to.
· Ensure records are maintained and kept confidentially.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

· Proof of right to work in the UK.
· A high level of attention to detail.
· Previous HR experience.
· ACIPD/CIPD or equivalent.
· Be a confident communicator who is non-judgemental, diplomatic, confidential and discreet.
· Good presentation and IT skills.
· Be highly organised with a positive, can-do attitude.
· Ability to work as an integral part of the team.
· Ability to cover 9.00am – 17.00pm for holiday cover as required.
