Purpose of Role Area of responsibility: Talent Acquisition and Talent Relationships In order to achieve business goals, assist Assistant Director of Human Resources by fulfilling various Human Resources functions including, Recruitment and Selection, Talent Activities (TakeCare) and Administration.  To be actively aware of and organize the day to day activities of the Human Resources Department.    Responsibly Description  * Participate in the development and implementation of Human Resources policies for the establishment. * Manage the recruitment systems within the hotel, paying particular attention to advertising, screening, work permits, reference checks and administration of all new hires. * Knowing and implement new technology for selection and recruitment. * According to market situation to make strategy plan to attract and recruit best Talent for W Taipei * Maintain an up to date internal position vacancy listing and Marriott Open Position Listing. * Receive, Register and sort incoming applications for employment and action accordingly. Screen applications to ensure they meet W Brand standards. * Ensure the effective administration of personnel records and files in line with Marriott Policy. * Liaise with Department Heads on the development of up to date Role Descriptions. * Maintain the strictest confidentiality at all times on all matters  * Maintain a filing and track system. * Take telephone inquiries regarding employment prospect and give appropriate advice. * File and retrieve documents and information. * Maintain updated information on the Marriott and W Taipei HR system. * Translate written documents. * Assist to ensure all personnel records are maintained accurately and kept secure. * Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail (including express services). * Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify Talent Coaches of potential danger. * Prepare and maintain files, reports, letters, memorandums and other relevant business documentations. * Follow all company policies and procedures. * Access and use Marriott and W Taipei HR system. * Organize all Intern Happening and act as Intern coach. * Assist and coordinate the screening of all applications. * Purchase stock / inventory according to purchasing procedures and specifications. * Supervise the maintenance of Male and Female Dressing Room, including Talent Lounge. * Handle Talent onboard process and assist Talent with application for applicable licenses. * Monitor, analyze and report variations from the budget. * Assist with Talent Happenings and Talent reward program. * Assist with the preparation of license reports for departments / venues. * Provide one-on-one instruction to Talent when required. * Adhere to hotel’s security & Safety and emergency policies and procedures. * Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational health and safety legislation, policies and procedures. * Be familiar with property safety, current first aid and fire emergency procedures. * Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements * Adhere to hotel’s cleaning and maintenance programs. * Maintain personal presentation in accordance to W Taipei, W Hotels and Marriott standards. * Demonstrate professional attitude and behavior at all times * Work effectively in a team. * Analyze, evaluate and improve personal performance continuously. * Apply hotel quality assurance principles. * Abide by Marriott’s Business Code of Conduct. * Abide by Marriott policies and W Taipei's Talent Handbook. * Carry out other tasks as directed by Talent Coaches. * In conjunction with Training and in line with Marriott policies, develop and maintain an effective performance management program. * Communicate relevant Human Resources policies and information to Management Team on a regular basis.  Attend and play an active part in Human Resources and other designated meetings. * Develop effective links with partnership organisations, such as universities and colleges, government officer, other hotels, and etc. * Actively promote a work environment that cares for guests and Talent alike. * Assist with reward and certification programs. * Ensure all reporting deadlines are met. * Assist with special projects as required.   At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
